Helen is a business adviser specialising in community finance, having had personal experience of setting up and running an award-winning community enterprise. She currently works as an adviser for the Plunkett Foundation and as a consultant delivering support under Big Potential. She spent four years as Plunkett’s South East England adviser working with community shops and pubs and as a local food adviser under the Making Local Food Work programme. In 2013-14 she supported social enterprises in the food/farming sector as project coordinator for FEA (Funding Enlightened Agriculture), a network dedicated to creating funding solutions for pioneering enterprises. Originally from a publishing background, she has written several e-books and other resources on community shares and raising funds for community enterprises.
